In this episode of River Streams: The Gorge Podcast, we explore the pro-immigrant laws that Governor Tina Kotek signed on April 9. Schools will now be officially required to implement a system to alert students, staff, and families about the presence of federal immigration agents on school grounds. In addition, the state will add certain protections for Oregon residents based on their immigration status.
